Human Statue.

Tear drops hit the pearlescent lake
Droplets of water fall down
Remember the day the rain came?
Do you remember when it crashed down?
Do you remember when I was suddenly found?

The trees sing so quietly in the breeze
You sit there so quietly, in your own world
Seasons changed from winter to spring
Yet you still remained the same
You havent moved, still as stone
Rigid as a human statue

Time changes, clocks tick faster
Yet there you sit and wait
Waiting for your loved one
To come right back

The angels above took pity
Saw the raindrops fall over the city
Felt your pain and suffering and reminiscently
Held your smooth pale white hand
Saw your face dissolve like pure gold sand
Hope disappearing fast,
Nothing was meant to last

Grey and cold but there you sit
You look so derelict
For a spell was cast on you
To stop the pain
Once was human is now statue
Goodbye my Matthew
